Resume Maker not running on Windows 7

Help.  I've searched everywhere for help to resolve what should be a "simple issue".

 I'm trying to run Resume Maker Premier software with Windows 7 and keep going in circles:

1. "Network not working" shows up first.

2. Error 5 pops up.

3.  Online solution takes me to Microsoft website...however, nothing gets fixed.

Please help.  I'm tired of wasting time.
